Bringing an end to the speculation on the S-400 payment issue, Russia has confirmed that the two sides have worked out the mechanism for payment and the first system is expected to arrive in 2023, according to Russian media reports.
The delivery will follow the delivery schedule of the contract signed between the two sides in 2018. India is purchasing five regiments of the long-range-surface-to-air-missile systems for over $5.4 billion.
IAF flies two sorties on Mig-35
The visiting Indian Air Force (IAF) contingent had look at the Russian fifth-generation-fighter Su-57, the latest aircraft to come out of Sukhoi Design Bureau. The IAF test pilots also flew the Mig-35, one of the main contenders of IAF’s 110 aircraft tender.
“The Indian delegation was shown MiG-35 and Su-57 aircraft,” IAF said in a tweet.
Export version of its multipurpose Korsar UAV debuts
Ruselectronics Holding Company of Rostec State Corporation introduced the prototype of the export model of its Korsar UAV with a set of target payloads at the MAKS-2019 International Aviation and Space Salon. The Korsar unmanned aerial vehicle has obtained the necessary export permits and will be offered to foreign customers.
