78th EME day celebrated

The Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers, which celebrated its 78th Corps Day on 15 Oct 2020, is responsible to provide integrated engineering support to the entire range of equipment and weapon systems of the Indian Army during complete life cycle from design to discard thus enhancing the Army’s combat potential by exploiting the power of technology and innovation.

Indian companies in talks with Kazakhstan defence industries

Mr Sanjay Jaju, Joint Secretary (DIP), Ministry of Defence, GoI today said both India and Kazakhstan are looking at exploring opportunities which provide win-win solutions to the industries on both sides. 

Speaking at the inaugural of the India-Kazakhstan Defence Cooperation Expo, a two- day virtual expo jointly organized by FICCI and Ministry of Defence, GoI, Mr Jaju said several Indian companies are already in talks with Kazakh defence industries for co-production and co-development in defence production.

Boeing's Space Force Satellite Passes Design Review

Boeing and the U.S. Space Force successfully completed the first major engineering design review for the Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS)-11+ communications satellite. This successful review demonstrates that Boeing is ready to proceed to the final system design phase. Production will begin next year at Boeing’s El Segundo factory, with delivery scheduled for 2024.
