Press Release, June 25

High Precision Systems holding of Rostec State Corporation has presented Paladin, its latest military robot system, at the International Military-Technical Forum ARMY-2019. The system consists of the unmanned Dragun battle module installed on a robotized BMP-3 chassis.

The Paladin is armed with two guns of 100 mm and 30 mm calibers, as well as a 7.62 mm machine gun. It can be both controlled remotely and left to operate in an autonomous mode. In autonomous mode, the robot can independently determine its route and move to a target point specified by the operator in advance. The Paladin can also be operated by an on-board crew.

“Robotic systems are an important part of the modern armed forces. They are already being successfully used for demining, cargo delivery, and conducting radiation, chemical and biological protection. The unique Paladin robot system, created by integrating innovative technologies to advanced military designs developed by our engineers, is designed to handle direct combat objectives. These include fire support missions, holding bridgeheads, breaking through enemy defense lines and transporting personnel. I am confident the system will be appreciated by the military and security agencies”, said Sergey Abramov, Industrial Director of Rostec.

The system will be demonstrated in a closed exhibition during the International Military-Technical Forum ARMY-2019, is being held on June 25-30 at the Patriot congress and exhibition center of the Russian armed forces located in Kubinka, Moscow Region.
