We look forward to the next step in her progress, with the commissioning of NUSHIP Supply by the Royal Australian Navy.
“Of course, our important work is not yet done. Navantia Australia remains focussed on delivering industry leading asset management, smart sustainment solutions and engineering services for not only the Supply class AORs, but all Navantia designed ships and craft.”
Navantia Australia together with the Department of Defence Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG), have formed the AOR System Program Office (AORSPO) Enterprise to deliver industry-leading asset management for the AOR capability.
Navantia Australia will act as Prime Contractor and manage the through life support for these vessels for their first five years of service.
As the design authority for the Supply class, Navantia Australia is providing configuration and baseline management as an integral component of the through life support for these vessels.
Navantia is also the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the engines and Integrated Platform Management System (IPMS) installed on the ships.
NUSHIP Supply will be commissioned into service with the Royal Australian Navy in the first quarter of 2021.
