Russian Sberbank hosts AI conference

Artificial Intelligence Journey (AI Journey), an international conference on artificial intelligence and data science is starting today and will last till December,5. With over 25,000 people from 87 countries it has already become the Top 1 AI/DS events in terms of the number of participants. have signed up. President Putin will address the participants on Friday, December 4.

BrahMos needs a broader vision

In the last ten days, Indian armed forces have test-fired BrahMos cruise from various platforms. On November 24 and 25, Indian Army launched land to land version of the missile. Again on November 25, Indian Air Force (IAF) launched land to land version. Before this, in October IAF had test-fired air to land version from Su-30MKI.

Lt Gen SK Saini, the Vice Chief of Army Staff (VCOAS) addressed the participants of National Defence Course Bangladesh on “Security Challenges Post COVID – 19 Pandemic” via a virtual platform on 02 December 2020. Earlier in his career, the VCOAS had attended the National Defence College Bangladesh in 2011. The address covered the impact of Corona virus on the emerging world and focused on its impact on military, the security challenges and his views on ways and means to tackle them.    

VCAS witnesses Combined Guided Weapons Firing

Air Marshal HS Arora PVSM AVSM ADC, Vice Chief of the Air Staff (VCAS), witnessed Surface to Air Guided Weapons Firing as a part of Combined Guided Weapons Firing  2020 at Air Force Station Suryalanka on 01 Dec 20. 

The exercise was conducted from 23 Nov to 02 Dec 2020. Indigenous Akash Missile System along with Russian short range Igla missiles were fired and engaged the Manoeuverable Expendable Aerial Targets (MEAT) providing near realistic training to the combat crew.
