New Commander Eastern Air Command

Air Marshal Amit Dev took over as Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Eastern Air Command, IAF on October 1. He was commissioned into Fighter Stream on December, 1982 as a Fighter Pilot and has a flying experience of more than 2500hrs on MiG 21 and MiG 27 fighter aircraft.

Prior to this appointment he was Air Officer-in-Charge, Personnel at Air HQ, New Delhi.

AM RD Mathur new head of Training Command

Air Marshal RD Mathur took over as AOC-in-C of Training Command, IAF Bluru. He was commissioned into Fighter Stream of IAF in June 1982. Air Officer has a flying experience of more than 5100 hrs on a variety of fighter aircraft, trainers and helicopters.

During his illustrious career, the Air Officer has held numerous important appointments. He was CO of a fighter squadron & has also commanded a frontline Fighter Base. As an Air Vice Marshal, he held coveted appointments of Assistant Chief of Air Staff Operations (Space) at Air HQ Vayu Bhawan and Air Defence Commander at HQ EAC. 

AM RJ Duckworth new head of personnel 

Air Marshal RJ Duckworth took over as Air Officer in charge Personnel at Air Headquarters Vayu Bhawan, Indian Air Force on 01 Oct 20. He was commissioned into Fighter Stream of the IAF on 29 May 1983 as a Fighter Pilot. In a distinguished career spanning nearly 38 years, the Air Officer has flown wide variety of fighter and trainer aircraft in the inventory of IAF. He has a flying experience of more than 3000 hours including operational flying on MiG-21 and MiG-29 fighter aircraft.
