Rajnath Singh reviews DefExpo-2022 preparations

Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh and Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani jointly reviewed the preparations of DefExpo-2022, at Kevadia, Gujarat on September 02, 2021. The 12th edition of DefExpo, which is India’s flagship event showcasing the land, naval, air as well as homeland security systems, will be held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat between March 10-13, 2022.

Navy buys BEL's Anti drone system

The Indian Navy has signed a Contract with Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Limited (BEL) for supply of the first indigenous, comprehensive Naval Anti Drone System (NADS) with both hard kill and soft kill capabilities.

The contract was signed by Indian Navy and BEL, today at New Delhi, in the presence of senior Naval officers and DRDO representatives. Indian Navy has provided consistent support and has played a lead role in the joint development of the anti drone system by DRDO and BEL.

US Army’s - Blunder In Afghanistan

Mahindra Defence to Manufacture Anti-Sub Suite

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) has awarded a major contract to Mahindra Defence Systems Limited (MDS) worth Rs 1349.95 Cr for the manufacturing of Integrated Anti-Submarine Warfare Defence Suite (IADS) for modern warships of Indian Navy. Competitive bids from Indian companies were invited by MoD through open tender wherein the systems fielded were put through detailed trials at sea to prove their capability.
