AeroIndia'21 - DRDO

During the 13thedition of Aero India international air show, scheduled to be held from February 3 to 5, 2021 at Air Force Station Yelahanka, Bengaluru; Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) will exhibit its latest defence technologies and demonstrate many systems.Organised biennially, Aero India is a platform for aerospace enthusiasts,prospective defence industries, aspirant start-ups and all other stakeholders to participate and witness the advances in global defence and aerospace fields and interact with many national and international delegations and industries.

AeroIndia'21 - HAL

A unique flying display of HAL’s indigenous platforms (both fixed and rotary wing) aptly titled ‘Aatmanirbhar Formation Flight’ will be part of the flying display during the 13th edition of Aero India-2021 scheduled from February 3, 2021 at Air Force Station, Yelahanka.  HAL will showcase its prowess in defence and aerospace centered on the theme ‘Conceive. Indigenise.

AeroIndia'21 - BAE Systems

The global defence, aerospace and security company, BAE Systems, will exhibit a number of its world-leading capabilities, alongside its commitment to Make in India, at next week’s Aero India, taking place from 3-5 February in Bengaluru.

Under the theme of “Partnering in India to Make in India”, the Company will demonstrate how its products and services – across land, air and sea – provide a vital advantage to its Indian customers, as well as drive indigenous production.

Navy decommission attack craft T-81

Indian Naval Fast Attack Craft (IN FAC) T-81 of the Super Dvora MK II class, was decommissioned on 28 Jan 21 at Naval Dockyard, Mumbai after having served the nation successfully for more than 20 years. Rear Admiral V Srinivas, Flag Officer Commanding Maharashtra Naval Area was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

The 25 meters long vessel with 60 tonnes displacement was built at Goa Shipyard Ltd. In collaboration with M/s Ramta of Israel. She was commissioned into the Navy on 05 Jun 1999 by the then Governor of Goa, Lt Gen JFR Jacob (Retd). 

Vice President inaugurates missile complex

M. Venkaiah Naidu, Hon’ble Vice President of India, visited DRDO’s Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Missile Complex in Hyderabad on 25th January 2021. He inaugurated the Integrated Weapon System Design Centre in the complex. Hon’ble Vice President was briefed about the various ongoing projects and technological developments of missile complex laboratories namely Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL), and Research Centre Imarat (RCI).
