GRSE installs AI surveillance system

Adopting the latest technology with respect to security of infrastructure and other assets, Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Ltd., (GRSE), a Mini Ratna Category 1 Defence PSU and a leading warship building company has commenced today an Artificial Intelligence (AI) enabled high end CCTV network across its five units in Kolkata at a cost of Rs 12.95 Crore.<

INS TAbar visits Alexandria

 Indian Navy’s frontline frigate, INS Tabar arrived at Alexandria on 27 Jun 21 for two days as part of a goodwill visit. India and Egypt share warm bilateral relations and ships of the Indian Navy have frequently visited Alexandria port. 

Commanding Officer INS Tabar, Captain M Mahesh and his ships crew laid wreath at Alexandria Naval Unknown Soldier Memorial. The Commanding Officer also called upon Rear Admiral Ayman al-Daly, Commander of Alexandria Naval Base. 

India adds 63 bridges to bolster border infrastructure

Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh dedicated to the nation 63 bridges, built by Border Roads Organisation (BRO), in six States and two Union Territories (UTs), at an event held at Kyungam, 88 kms from Leh in the Union Territory of Ladakh. 

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Pema Khandu, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Jairam Thakur, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Shri Tirath Singh Rawat, Sikkim Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang were among those who attended the event virtually. 

India tests new version of Agni missile

Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully flight tested a New Generation Nuclear Capable Ballistic Missile Agni P from Dr APJ Abdul Kalam island off the coast of Odisha, Balasore at 1055 hrs on June 28, 2021. Various telemetry and radar stations positioned along the eastern coast tracked and monitored the missile. The missile followed text book trajectory, meeting all mission objectives with high level of accuracy. 

Iran-Israel Relations: Unstable Future Ahead

“Israel and Iran are officially not at war with each other, yet they both are at war.” 

The above statement in a nutshell sums up the relations between the two countries whose hostility for each other is well known. Israel’s strong reaction to election of new Iranian President as ‘hangman of Tehran’ was therefore not at all surprising. The Israeli statement also indicates what lies ahead in relations between sworn enemies.
