Airbus Receives 300th Order of C-295

The Airbus C295 medium airlifter has reached 300 orders, taking into account its different transport and mission versions, following the Republic of Kazakhstan’s acquisition of a third aircraft for the Aviation Service of the National Security Committee.

This figure underlines the success of the Spanish and European aerospace industry, as the C295 is the undisputed leader in its segment with a market share of more than 80%. The C295 currently has 41 operators from 37 countries in Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia,19 of which have placed repeat orders.

PM Inaugurates Sela Tunnel

Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually dedicated to the nation the Sela Tunnel project during the Viksit Bharat Viksit North East programme in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh on March 09, 2024. Navantia Delivers 5th Corvette to Saudi Navy

On behalf of His Royal Highness Minister of Defence Princ Khaled Bin Salman, The Chief of Staff, General Fayyad bin Hamed al Ruwaili, and the Chief of Staff of Royal Saudi Naval Forces, Admiral Fahad Bin Abdullah Al-Ghofaily, have presided today the commissioning of the fifth corvette, built at Navantia's Bay of Cádiz shipyard, to the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF). In accordance with the terms of the contract, the handover took place at the King Faisal naval base in Jeddah.

INS Jatayu Commissioned at Minicoy Island

INS Jatayu was commissioned at Minicoy island, Lakshadweep in presence of Adm R Hari Kumar, the Chief of Naval Staff, Hon'ble Administrator of Lakshadweep, Shri Praful K Patel, V Adm V Srinivas, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Naval Command on 06 Mar 24. This milestone event strengthens Indian Navy's foothold in the Lakshdweep island while extending capacity building,operational reach and sustenance in the region. The establishment of Naval Base at Minicoy will augument connectivity with the main land focusing towards comprehensive development of the islands.
