Pratt & Whitney Submits Proposal to Power the F-15EX

Pratt & Whitney is proud to have submitted our proposal to power the USAF F-15EX with the trusted F100-PW-229 engine for Lots 2-9 of the procurement schedule. The F100 engine has powered every operational F-15 in the USAF fleet since its first flight in 1972, and we look forward to powering this legendary fighter for decades to come. The F100-PW-229’s power, performance, and reliability will enable the F-15EX to conduct the Air Force’s most critical missions here and abroad.

11th Round of India-China Corp level meeting

The 11th round India-China Corps Commander Level Meeting was held at Chushul-Moldo border meeting point on 09 April 2021. The two sides had a detailed exchange of views for the resolution of the remaining issues related to disengagement along the LAC in Eastern Ladakh. The two sides agreed on the need to resolve the outstanding issues in an expeditious manner in accordance with the existing agreements and protocols.

PM Modi hands over Patrol Vessel to Seychelles

In line with India’s vision of ‘SAGAR’ (Security And Growth for All in the Region) that puts ‘Neighbourhood first’, Fast Patrol Vessel (FPV), SCG PS Zoroaster built by Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Limited (GRSE), Kolkata, a leading shipyard of India was handed over to the Seychelles Coast Guard by Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi in the presence of His Excellency Wavel Ramkalawan, President of the Republic of Seychelles.

Army Chief on 5 day visit to Bangladesh

Continuing with the excellent tradition of strong bilateral and defence ties between India and Bangladesh, General MM Naravane, Chief of the Army Staff has proceeded on a visit to Bangladesh from 08 to 12 April 2021. General Naravane's visit comes in the midst of Swarnim Vijay Varsh celebrations which mark 50 years of the liberation of Bangladesh, made possible by the historic leadership of the Bôngobondhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and heroics of the Mukti Bahini who fought shoulder to shoulder with Indian Armed Forces.

Indian Navy conducting hydrographic survey in Mauritius

INS Sarvekshak, a hydrographic survey ship, is on a deployment to Mauritius for undertaking joint hydrographic surveys along with their Mauritian counterparts. During the deployment, training of Mauritian personnel on advanced hydrographic equipment and practices will also be undertaken. The ship visited Port Louis, Mauritius and commenced the hydrographic survey of ‘Deep sea area off Port Louis’.
